Fundada como <strong>cofrad\u00eda de Saint Uguzon<\/strong>, la Guilde Internationale des Fromagers es una asociaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro que federa a todo el sector quesero y l\u00e1cteo \u2014queseros, ganaderos, afinadores, distribuidores, chefs, comunicadores y amantes de la gastronom\u00eda\u2014 con un fin declarado: promover en todo el mundo la nobleza del queso como producto sano y gastron\u00f3mico, favorecer el intercambio de conocimientos y preservar la diversidad de las especialidades queseras. Cuenta con <strong>m\u00e1s de 9.000 miembros<\/strong> y celebra sus cap\u00edtulos de entronizaci\u00f3n de forma regular en Francia, Espa\u00f1a, Estados Unidos, China, Jap\u00f3n, Reino Unido, Chile o Argentina. Que el 682\u00ba se celebrase en Zamora, dentro de <a href=\"https:\/\/fromago.info\/feria-del-queso-zamora\/\" style=\"color:#8F5C0C;font-weight:700;\">la feria del queso de Zamora<\/a>, es un reconocimiento en s\u00ed mismo.<\/p>\n\n  <p class=\"anim\">Lo dej\u00f3 claro el propio <strong>Roland Barth\u00e9lemy<\/strong>, m\u00e1xima autoridad de la cofrad\u00eda y considerado uno de los mayores expertos mundiales en queso, distinguido en Francia con la Orden Nacional del M\u00e9rito y la Legi\u00f3n de Honor: \u00abEspa\u00f1a es un pa\u00eds de una gran tradici\u00f3n quesera. Los entronizados y sus padrinos \u2014cofrades en activo que avalan a cada nuevo miembro\u2014 entraron en la sala al son de <em>Pomp and Circumstance<\/em>, el himno de la cofrad\u00eda. Tras la bienvenida del maestro de ceremonias, <strong>Javier Roza<\/strong>, cada candidato escuch\u00f3 la lectura p\u00fablica de sus m\u00e9ritos antes de recibir de manos del Pr\u00e9vost la <strong>medalla<\/strong> de la Guilde y el <strong>diploma<\/strong> que acredita su ingreso, estampar su <strong>firma en el libro<\/strong> de la cofrad\u00eda y fotografiarse con Barth\u00e9lemy. Nueve de ellos ingresan con el grado de <strong>Guarda y Jurado<\/strong>; el presidente de la Real Academia de Gastronom\u00eda lo hace como <strong>Compa\u00f1ero de Honor<\/strong>, y el presidente El presidente de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Zamora, <strong>Javier Fa\u00fandez<\/strong>, vivi\u00f3 la velada por partida doble: como anfitri\u00f3n y como nuevo cofrade con el grado de Protector, apadrinado por el propio Barth\u00e9lemy.
