The Zamora Provincial Council held a meeting with the presidents of Eilza and Caja Rural.
On the morning of August 3, a meeting was held at the Provincial Council to finalize the details of the Fromago 2024 fair. The meeting was attended by Javier Faundez as president of the Provincial Council, the president of Eilza and the president of Caja Rural de Zamora.
The first highlight of this meeting is that there is already a date for the year 2024, to be held from September 12 to 15.
Secondly, the president of the Provincial Council has announced that Zamorano cheese products will be present at the fair in Bra, Italy, and thus publicize the Zamorano product and the Fromago fair.
What we want to achieve with the cheese fair is to continue doing it for more years and each time improving it, compared to previous years. And to publicize the Zamora cheese and the city of Zamora.
Javier Faundez stressed that 550,000 euros are earmarked for the realization of the fair. It is also expected that the Board will give an amount of more than 200,000 euros and that the City Council of Zamora will raise the amount of 30,000 euros that it gave last year.
Although the economic data are not yet confirmed, little by little we will see what this new edition will cost, since, as the President of the Provincial Council has assured, he does not know the cost of the first and only edition of Fromago.
