Fromago is coming to Galicia’s Green Week and is preparing for its official launch in Silleda

A delegation from Fromago Cheese Experience 2026 is visiting the 48th edition of the Abanca Semana Verde International Fair in Galicia, led by Víctor López de la Parte, vice president of the Zamora Provincial Council

The official opening of the fair will take place tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. at the Zamora Provincial Council’s booth, with industry professionals and representatives from Galician institutions in attendance

The “Camino de Fromago” thus expands its route across Spain with a new stop in Galicia, following stops in Oviedo and Valladolid

Silleda (Pontevedra). FROMAGO Cheese Experience 2026 made its debut this Wednesday at the 48th Abanca Semana Verde de Galicia International Fair, one of the major events in the agri-food sector of northwestern Spain. A delegation led by Víctor López de la Parte, vice president of the Zamora Provincial Council, toured the facilities of the Feira Internacional de Galicia in Silleda, where Fromago has its own presence at the Provincial Council’s booth.

During the event, the president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alfonso Rueda, stopped by the booth to learn firsthand about the details of the third edition of Fromago, which will be held in Zamora from September 17 to 20.

Tomorrow, official presentation

The highlight of the event will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:00 p.m. at the Zamora Provincial Council’s booth, where the official presentation of Fromago 2026 will be held for industry professionals and Galician institutions. The event will feature a cooking demonstration and a cheese tasting for attendees.

A new stop on the “Camino de Fromago” route that reinforces the fair’s commitment to expanding its presence throughout the country, following the events already held in Oviedo and Valladolid in recent weeks.
