Last Saturday, July 27th, Fromago organized the return of this event, so beloved in the province of Zamora, with a high participation of more than 150 people.
Sanzoles returned to experience its traditional tastings with the return of this event to the town thanks to Fromago, the main organizer, together with the Zangarrón de Sanzoles Association and Álvaro Ponce (chef of Moralvi Taller de Tapas).
The event was attended by several professionals from the gastronomic sector such asSantiago Vicente (Hotel Rey Don Sancho), Sonia San Juan (Bakery – Pastry San Juan), Adrián Asensio (Taberna Cuzeo), Susana Martín (Restaurante Las Aceñas), Agustín Pérez (Restaurante Arzuaga), Valérie Huon (Atelier Bistrot), Alexandre Huon (Atelier Bistrot) and Álvaro Ponce (Moralvi Taller de Tapas).
Each chef prepared a tapa with cheese as the main ingredient, as it could not be otherwise. The Zamorano Cheese PDO was also present providing this product for the enjoyment of the attendees and Torguvi provided the wine glasses.
All the tapas were paired with wines courtesy of the following wineries: Fariña (Casaseca de las Chanas), La Presa (Sanzoles), Ramón Ramos (Venialbo), Volvoreta (Sanzoles), Siesto (Sanzoles), Bendita Locura (Morales del vino).
The event had the collaboration of the Asociación de Águedas de Sanzoles, who were in charge of serving all the tapas and wine to all attendees. In addition, the Asociación del Zangarrón de Sanzoles was in charge of the sound, image and ticket management of the event.
For its part, the City Council of Sanzoles collaborated by leaving the pavilion.
