Fromago and CEOE strengthen ties with a collaboration agreement to make Zamora’s commerce more visible

Sunday, September 15 will be considered as a provincial opening day for commercial activities

This Wednesday has taken place the signing of the collaboration agreement between the Confederation of Business Organizations Zamorano (CEOE Zamora) and the International School of Dairy Industries Foundation for the organization of the Second Edition of Fromago Cheese Experience.

At the headquarters of AZECO, the signing of this agreement has been formalized, which aims to give visibility to Fromago through the trade of Zamora, promoting the Fromago Fair and the trade of Zamora on the dates of its celebration, from September 12 to 15.

Both the president of the International School of Dairy Industries (EILZA), Sara Fregeneda López, and the president of AZECO, Ruperto Prieto, were present at the event. Both have been accompanied by the deputy of Economic Development Area, Emilio Fernandez, and the councilman of Commerce and Economic Development, David Gago.

In this second edition, prizes in the form of lots of cheese will be raffled among the customers of the participating businesses, as well as among the merchants who distribute the winning ballots.

In addition, 20 double tickets will be raffled for the cheese tunnels, located along the route of the Fair, thanks to the collaboration of EILZA and CEOE Zamora.

Shop window contest

One of the highlights is the holding of a themed window display contest, awarding prizes to the business that best represents the spirit of cheese in its decoration. To encourage openness during the fair, it has been agreed that Sunday, September 15 will be considered as one of the holidays to be open according to the provincial labor agreement for general commerce.

Sara Fregeneda, president of Eilza, said that the signing of this agreement “adds value to the fair and the cheese sector” in the province and that one of the most important aspects of this agreement “is to mobilize the whole of Zamora society” so that those who come from outside see the welcome Fromago has in Zamora.

From Eilza wanted to show a total gratitude to all businesses that join this initiative, also so that they and their businesses can benefit from the economic movement that is expected to leave the celebration of the second edition of Fromago in the city.

For his part, Ruperto Prieto, president of Azeco, explained during the signing that the objective is to make visible that both the city and the trade are committed to this event.

The EILZA Foundation will be in charge of coordinating all these activities together with AZECO, actively promoting them on Fromago’s social networks. On Thursday, September 12, all the prizes will be publicly drawn on one of the Fair’s stages.
