InLac and EILZA have sealed their partnership to boost the international profile of FROMAGO 2026 for the second consecutive year

The Barcelona Food Fair today served as the setting for a decisive step toward the international consolidation of FROMAGO Cheese Experience 2026. Javier Roza, president of the Interprofessional Dairy Organization (InLac), and Sara Fregeneda, president of the International School of Dairy Industries (EILZA), have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to promote and revitalize the fair, which will be held in Zamora from September 17 to 20, 2026.

Full support for the dairy sector

This agreement represents the explicit support of InLac, the organization that represents the entire Spanish dairy sector. InLac represents both the production sector (livestock farmers) and the processing sector (cooperatives and manufacturers), serving as the unifying body that defends the common interests of the cow’s, sheep’s, and goat’s milk value chain.

The purpose of the agreement is to establish close collaboration between the two institutions for the organization of various exclusive events and promotional activities centered on FROMAGO. The goal is clear: to enhance the image of quality associated with domestic products and revitalize the sector through a trade show that is already a benchmark in Southern Europe.

Second Edition of the Joint Commitment

For the second consecutive year, InLac is sponsoring FROMAGO and demonstrating its strong commitment to the event. This continuity reinforces stability in the sector and reaffirms the Zamora trade show as the ideal forum for implementing measures aimed at strengthening the dairy market.

Following the signing, Sara Fregeneda, president of EILZA, highlighted the importance of this agreement: “The fact that the organization representing livestock farmers and industries throughout Spain has once again placed its trust in FROMAGO is the best possible endorsement.”

With the support of InLac, the FROMAGO 2026 organizing committee continues to work on an edition that will surpass the milestones set in 2024. The event is expected to feature an exhibition area of more than 40,000 m², with nearly 300 exhibitors at over 400 booths and more than 1,200 varieties of cheese from around the world.

Thanks to this agreement, FROMAGO will have a unique promotional platform to attract professionals, importers, and consumers, thereby cementing Zamora’s status as the world capital of cheese.
